What cookies we use, when optional analytics is activated, and how to change your preferences. Last updated: 25 September 2026.
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size, and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them whenever you come back to the site or browse between pages.
This policy uses "cookies" as a general term that includes related technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking mechanisms.
We use the minimum number of cookies necessary to operate the Website and improve your experience. We classify them into three categories:
These cookies are essential for the Website to function. They do not require your consent under EU law because they are necessary for delivering the service you have requested.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
hwg_consent |
Records your cookie-consent decision so we don't ask again on every visit | 12 months |
__cf_bm (Cloudflare) |
Bot management — distinguishes humans from bots for security purposes | 30 minutes |
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how consenting visitors use the Website. GA4 is not loaded until you select Accept all. It remains disabled if you make no choice, select Essential only, withdraw consent, or enable a Do Not Track signal.
| Cookie / Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga (Google Analytics) |
Distinguishes one browser from another for aggregate Website measurement after consent | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<measurement-id> (Google Analytics) |
Maintains the state needed to measure sessions and page usage after consent | Up to 2 years |
Our GA4 measurement ID is G-3962ZWCJ24. We use analytics for aggregate Website measurement and service-enquiry conversion reporting, not advertising.
We do not currently use marketing cookies, ad-tracking cookies, or third-party advertising pixels. If we add such cookies in future, we will update this policy and request your consent before activating them.
The Website includes resources loaded from the following third parties, which may set their own cookies according to their own policies:
We do not use Facebook Pixel, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or other advertising trackers on the Website.
You can manage cookies in several ways:
When you first visit the Website, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to select Accept all or Essential only. Your decision is stored for 12 months. To withdraw consent or choose again, use the button below. Withdrawing consent clears the Website's Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without GA4.
All modern browsers allow you to view, manage, or block cookies via their settings. Instructions:
Note: blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of this Website and many others on the internet.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. The Website respects DNT signals where they are sent — we will treat a DNT signal as a withdrawal of consent for non-essential cookies.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. Where changes are material, we will re-request your consent through the cookie banner.
